CIRM (Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques) is located in the Luminy Campus area of Marseille, near the beautiful Calanques National Park.

🚍 Getting to CIRM by Public Transport
CIRM is easily accessible by Marseille’s public transport system.
- From Castellane (central Marseille), take the Bus B1 toward Campus de Luminy – Parc des Calanques.
The trip takes about 31 minutes, and the bus stop Campus de Luminy is only a short walk from CIRM. - You can also reach CIRM from Gare Saint-Charles by taking Metro Line 2 (toward Sainte-Marguerite Dromel) and transferring to the B1 bus at Castellane.
- Other options include buses 21JET or 24, which also serve the Luminy campus area.
🕒 Useful to know
The B1 line operates frequently (every 5–10 minutes during the day), and service runs from early morning until late evening.

CIRM provides around 120 rooms and three studios, all located within walking distance of the conference building.

Marseille offers many beautiful hotels, ranging from boutique to luxury, especially near:
- Castellane – ideal for direct B1 bus access to CIRM
- Vieux-Port (Old Port) – for those who wish to enjoy the city’s lively center
- Prado / Rond-Point du Prado – also directly connected by B1 and metro line 2
Even if you stay downtown, the Bus B1 provides a direct 31-minute link from Castellane to CIRM.
This makes it perfectly feasible to stay in the heart of Marseille and commute comfortably each day.

- Due to limited on-site rooms, many participants will stay in Marseille and commute via the B1 bus.
- Book your hotel early, especially if you prefer central Marseille.
- The CIRM cafeteria and restaurant are open to all registered participants for lunches and coffee breaks.
- You can also have dinner at CIRM if you are on-site, or explore Marseille’s restaurants if you stay downtown.
