Welcome to COSA 2026

We are pleased to announce that the 4th edition of the Conference on Ordered Structures and their Applications (COSA) will take place at the CIRM, a world-class research center located in Marseille, France, from September 14 to 18, 2026.
The COSA conference brings together researchers working on Riesz spaces, vector lattices, ordered algebraic structures, and their applications in mathematical finance, economics, and data science.
A Journey from South to North
COSA started as a virtual event during the pandemic and grew into a traveling conference with past editions in Tozeur (Tunisia), Kenitra (Morocco), and the Wits Rural Facilities (South Africa). This 2026 edition marks an important symbolic milestone — a scientific initiative born in Africa reaching one of the most prestigious mathematical centers in Europe.
It demonstrates that while African scientific communities still face structural challenges, they are progressing with determination and producing internationally recognized academic contributions.
