COSA 2026 — First Announcement
Dates: 14–18 September 2026
Venue: CIRM – Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques, Marseille (France)
We are pleased to announce the 4th Conference on Ordered Structures and their Applications (COSA 2026), hosted at CIRM in Marseille from 14 to 18 September 2026.
Focus on Financial Mathematics. COSA 2026 gives prominence to mathematical and actuarial finance and related areas of stochastic analysis and optimization, highlighting recent advances in pricing, risk, and market microstructure.
Ordered Structures. The conference also features contributions in vector lattices, Riesz and Banach lattices, and ordered algebraic frameworks, emphasizing how order-theoretic methods inform modern modeling of uncertainty, preferences, and risk.
Aim of the event. COSA 2026 aims to bring together both communities—financial mathematics and ordered structures—fostering exchanges, collaborations, and new research directions at the intersection of theory and applications.
Key themes
- Mathematical & actuarial finance; stochastic analysis for pricing and risk
- Ordered approaches to risk measures and pricing
- Ordered vector spaces, Riesz/Banach lattices, functional analysis with order
- Links with optimization, economics, and data-driven methods
Pre-registration and on-site capacity
A limited number of subsidized on-site places (covering accommodation and meals at CIRM) are available, with priority for PhD students and early-career researchers. We strongly encourage early pre-registration due to CIRM’s limited capacity.
